Ashley Marlo-Monique Meeks, Marriage & Family Therapist, In Gilroy, CA

Hey, it's Ashley

I believe that every one should have a safe space to express themselves. I am here to guide clients through their process and meet them where they are at providing a variety of tools.

My Therapuetic Style

I provide a supportive, compassionate, and collaborative space where children, teens, young adults, and families can feel safe to explore their emotions, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change. I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults across a wide range of ages, and I bring both clinical training and real-world experience into my work.

Before earning my degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, I spent five years working as a Behavioral Therapist and Developmental Specialist, supporting individuals and families with behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, and developmental needs. These experiences shaped my belief that healing and growth happen best when clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped with tools that fit their unique strengths and goals.

I am passionate about helping families, children, and adolescents build healthy communication, emotional awareness, and strong boundaries. My approach is both structured and flexible—meaning I integrate evidence-based practices while tailoring treatment to meet each client’s individual needs.

I work with a variety of concerns, including:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Trauma

  • Grief and loss

  • Anger and emotional regulation

  • Behavioral and developmental needs

  • And many other challenges that can impact emotional wellbeing and relationships

To support lasting growth, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT). With children and adolescents, I incorporate developmentally appropriate approaches such as art therapy interventions and play therapy directives, helping clients express themselves in ways that feel natural, safe, and engaging.

My goal is to help clients feel more confident, connected, and capable—whether that means learning coping skills, improving communication at home, processing difficult experiences, or building a stronger sense of self.
